There are many areas and applications for which the furnishing contractor can usefully employ high output fluorescent lighting units. There is a particularity strong case for this where background lighting is insufficient or a down-lit overhead scheme would prove difficult or too costly to implement. Free-standing or desk-mounted lighting units which are effective, inexpensive and easy to install then come into their own. With plug-in connections they can also be readily moved to suit changing layouts.
