Terms and Conditions

Damage or Loss
Notification of any complaint regarding an order must be made by telephone or email within 2 working days of receipt of the goods. After this time, the company cannot accept any liability regarding Shortages, damage or loss. Damage or Loss of goods out of our care are no longer covered by our carrier’s replacements and insurance policy after this time - N.B - Lesco do not cover goods if 'Onward Delivered' to a further address, even if within the first 48 hours.  Notice of the above is clearly marked on all dispatches.  Any variation is purely at the discretion of the directors of Lesco Products Ltd.

Faulty Manufacture

Notification of faulty goods must be made within 7 days of receipt. All complaints will be seriously

considered. In order to make an appraisal of the remedy, the goods will need to be inspected by us.

After notification they should either be returned in the original packing or arrangements made for

Lesco to collect from a convenient address. We shall then either exchange or repair depending on

the circumstances to facilitate prompt satisfaction. 



NB Pre-contractual Conditions of Sale

1.  All orders are accepted on the basis of prices ruling at the time of dispatch.

2.  All delivery items are subject to the availability of materials and services.

3.  We do not accept any responsibility for failure of services or circumstances beyond our control.

4.  Delivery times are given in good faith and we cannot guarantee or accept responsibility for timed and dated deliveries where carried by third parties.

5.  We cannot be held accountable for any charges or compensation wherein we have not given prior agreement for services provided due to late delivery or any other cause.

6.  Lesco Endeavour to meet our customers requirements accurately - However we are not liable for any additional product that may be required if the brief has not been totally met.  
                                                                                                
7. Any Contracts or Special Arrangements can only be signed by a Director of Lesco and not by an employee.

8.  All goods remain the property of Lesco Products Ltd. until invoices in respect of those goods are settled in full.

9. Faulty goods must be returned or collected by Lesco depending on circumstance. Credit

will only be issued, if considered appropriate, against returned goods.

10. Faulty goods will only be exchanged after return to Lesco.

Storage
If storage is undertaken for a period of one month or more, by prior agreement with the Directors of Lesco Products, space will be charged at a pre-agreed Rental.

New Accounts
First orders are always by Pro-forma invoice. A credit A/C can only be opened after a credit application form has been completed and the worthiness ratified on the recommendation obtained from a national credit reference agency.

Fully authenticated Credit or Purchase Cards are accepted (UK Mainland ONLY).

Packing and Carriage Charges from 01/04/2017
All orders over £250 Net are carriage paid to mainland UK.  Orders under £250 will incur a charge of £10 Net + VAT.

Please note the above applies to mainland UK only.  Carriage is chargable on all offshore orders including Channel Isles, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland.  For a quotation please send your request to sales@lesco.co.uk.




Site Delivery

All goods delivered as directed to customers site are not treated as delivered to customers own premises. It is the responsibility of the customer to sign for receipt and check for conformity. Lesco will consider signed paperwork as proof of delivery. All goods signed for in good order will cancel any future claim for damage at any time. Lesco cannot accept responsibility for any damage claim after time of delivery.  


Return of Goods
Goods which have been correctly supplied and dispatched by the Company in accordance with a customer's order but which the customer no longer wishes to retain may only be returned after the approval of a Director of Lesco Products Limited has been sought and granted in writing. Application to return correctly supplied goods must be made within 5 working days of receipt of goods. A 35% handling charge of the Net price invoiced is made in all cases to cover repacking and restocking as new. The client must return the goods at their own cost or arrange collection by Lesco or carrier appointed by Lesco. Collection will be an extra charge. Estimate for cost of such collections can be given. On acceptance goods must be returned or made available for collection within 7-10 days. All goods can only be accepted at the above terms if in original packaging and in re-saleable condition.

"Goods which are deemed to be 'Special Order' in that they are of special Manufacture and a special Import - Or are Non Standard Stock are Non-Returnable".

Samples

These are sent as chargeable goods to be credited on return. Goods returned within 30 days which are in a re-saleable condition and original packaging will be credited in full.

Samples retained after 30 days will be charged unless prior arrangement is made for the extension of the loan period. Only samples returned in a re-saleable condition and in the original packaging will be credited. We reserve the right to charge for shortages and damaged goods in full. For samples retained after 90 days we undertake to negotiate a purchase value.

Specials / Bespoke items
Non standard items needing special manufacture will be undertaken on the receipt of a written order. Once manufacture has commenced we cannot accept cancellation for any reason. A pre-payment of 100% will be required to underwrite the manufacture.

Standard Terms

Strictly 30 DAYS end of month following date of invoice. We reserve the right to charge interest in accordance with ‘The Late Payment of Commercial Debts (interest) Act 1998'. Full payment in advance will also be requested for goods and services where those goods are to be rental stored by Lesco (This by prior arrangement with the Directors) on the client's behalf for a period over 1 month.

Amendment 7/8/2002 at the rate set within that Act on all orders exceeding agreed terms.

Variation
All rights reserved to improve, vary, change or update any specification contained in sales literature.

Variation of Terms and Conditions of Sale
These terms and conditions can only be varied, altered or changed in writing by a Director of the Company. No employee of the Company has the authority to vary, add or amend any of the above terms and conditions.

VAT
All prices are subject to VAT at the current rate.

Aborted Delivery
If delivery address supplied is incomplete or the delivery is refused for any reason and our carrier has to put the delivery on hold. We will charge for holds and re-delivery costs in full.

Cancellation
No order may be cancelled without the consent of a director of Lesco in writing. Lesco reserves the right to claim all loss and expenses which may be incurred as a result of cancellation.
Please read in conjunction with terms above relating to goods which are deemed to be 'Special Order' or ‘Bespoke’ in that they need to be Manufactured or Imported or are Non Standard Stock.

This also applies to orders accepted for standard products prior to delivery.

If any order cancellation is approved in writing by Lesco, a 35% handling charge of Net trade price, is chargeable immediately in all cases to cover handling, checking, refurbishment, re- packing, depreciation and temporary storage.

Overdue Accounts
Where an account exceeds the agreed terms of credit or payment, notification will be sent in the form of a letter that goods will be withheld until such time as payments are made to bring the account up to date. We understand and will exercise our statutory right to interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (interest) Act 1998 if we are not paid according to agreed credit terms.

Default
Where a client defaults on payment of a legitimate charge supported by clear and correct invoiced amounts and supported by written proof of liability, Legal action will be taken in all cases to recover that debt.

Colour Coating
All non standard paint or powder finishes will be 20% extra. Please check if applicable.

Installation Service
LESCO offers a Fully Insured and Competitively Priced Installation Service.  This is charged to include travel time, parking costs and all other overheads - Between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday (normal working hours) as a guide. Out of hours, Monday to Friday only are charged at +33%. Weekends are charged at +66%. All Vehicles, Toll's, Equipment, Fixings and Waste Disposal from the installation only are included. If the goods are delivered on the same vehicle there is no freight charge.

Half daily charged at £295.00 NET including travel time.
One daily charged at £550.00 NET including travel time.

LESCO are an Installer Only and as such are not responsible for making good, decorating the fabric of the building or the removal and disposal of old equipment . *Please insure that we are notified of any Delivery Procedure / Security Procedure / Parking Arrangements / Area Clearing / Health and Safety Rules / Installation Restrictions at Site that may cause Delay to Works commencing, as this could lead to further charges. In some cases it may be necessary for LESCO to use a Third party installer.

All specifications are by quotation only and all prices are negotiable.
